Humanitarian Food Distribution in Afghanistan – ALO & WFP

Humanitarian food distribution organized by the Afghan Literacy Organization (ALO) in collaboration with the World Food Programme (WFP). As part of our joint efforts to respond to food insecurity in southern Afghanistan, ALO supported the distribution of essential food supplies — including wheat flour, cooking oil, and legumes — to vulnerable families in hard-to-reach communities. This initiative prioritizes the needs of women, children, and households facing acute food shortages, helping to improve household food security, reduce negative coping strategies, and support nutrition outcomes for the most at-risk populations.
